RE-MASTERED
In occasion of Burkhard Glaetzner's sixty-fifth birthday, we are re-publishing the complete recording of all oboe sonatas by Antonio Vivaldi. Glaetzner is one of the most renowned virtuosic to play this instrument: he was professor at the Universities in Leipzig and Berlin, is a specialist for New Music, and called to life and directed many different ensembles. This recording of the Vivaldi sonatas with Christine Schornsheim playing the continuo is from 1986. The timely distance of the recording is not noticeable. The recording has a stylistic competence. The CD also contains the first recording of the sonata for violin, oboe, the obligate organ and bassoon, RV 779.
